Canidae has rebranded their line of grain free dog and cat foods, and released two new formulas for dogs. The four original formulas (two for dogs, two for cats), Canidae (Felidae for cats) Grain Free All Life Stages, and Grain Free Salmon, are now pureElements, and pureSea, respectively. Here are some shots of the packaging transition:
And here's the new look for Felidae:
New pureSky and pureLand
As mentioned above, Canidae has introduced two new grain free formulas for dogs under their new 'pure' label. Both of these may be of particular interest to owners of dogs with numerous allergies, intolerances, or sensitivities to more commonly used ingredients.
pureSky's first two ingredients are duck and turkey meal (it also contains chicken fat, but typically intolerances to chicken stem from the protein, not the fat), and sweet potatoes and peas are the primary starches. pureLand uses bison and lamb meal, and the starches are sweet and white potatoes and peas.
Keep these in mind if your dog has issues with other foods, or you're just looking to add variety to their diet (which we highly recommend that you do).
All of the original grain free formulas are in stock for both Canidae and Felidae, and pureLand and pureSky are available upon request--we may stock them soon as well.
