Bully sticks are all the rage in dog treats these days, and rightfully so. Dogs go crazy for them, they're much healthier and more digestible than rawhide, and if you buy from a place like Joey's, they're from free range Brazilian cattle and don't stink.
True Chews has taken things a bit further. One thing I've found, in searching for the highest quality treats to carry at Joey's, is that there are precious few treats (especially bully sticks) made in the USA. True Chews not only offers a full array of USA bully sticks, but also packaged chicken jerky.
Chicken jerky is another one that almost entirely comes from China, but not True Chews products. All of their stuff, including bully sticks, chicken jerky, and pig ears, are made in Independence, Iowa.
The fac that they source their products from the
USA is cool enough, but they provide more options for purchase. Most bully stick vendors only offer their product in bulk--no shrink wrap, no packaging...greasy, gross. Instead, you can get packaged packs of bully sticks in addition to the usual bulk fare.
The bully stick options are as follows: 6" in bulk, 5" six pack, 12" premium in bulk, 6" premium three packs, 7" premium twin packs, and (coming soon) a 6" 'Hardy' in bulk for stronger chewers.
The chicken filets also come in three different sized bags, and all of their products are pricedvery competitively with their imported counterparts.
