Who doesn't love cookies decorated with frosting? Whether it's the colours, the hand-decorated beauty, the smell, or the fun of a treat tailored to a particular occasion a la Christmas cookies, indulging in cookies never seems to get old.
There's even a movement to spoil our dogs with the same kinds of bakery goodness we've enjoyed for years. Usually, however, the cookies contain wheat, to which many dogs are allergic or intolerant.
Preppy Puppy Bakery is here to rescue wheat-adverse dogs from their life of austerity. (With the word 'austerity' becoming everyone's buzz word du jour when referring to the Eurozone debt crisis, it'd only be right for me to pile on.)
We were particularly impressed with the quality of their creations, both the baking and the ingredients they're putting into their products. The cookies aren't just fun, they're the best quality we've found.
Seriously, who doesn't want to give their dog a cookie loaded with frosting? (The frosting's actually healthy too.) And I won't even ask the obviously rheortical question of whether your dog would enjoy it.
Thanks to Preppy Puppy Bakery, you can actually give your dog a wheat-free multi-coloured iced pretzel, iced donut, or a peanut butter bar; you can even pay homage to a few of the wonderful breeds out there with favourites like the Malteaser, and the Corgi Cannoli.
In this season of giving, make sure your dog isn't left out; as if any of you would do such a thing.
