We hope all of our dog park goers are taking advantage of the pond to wear their dogs out despite this heat. If you haven't joined yet, well we won't judge too harshly.
Before we get down to business, I want to say a quick 'thank you' to Tiffany West at Direction Studios for the beautiful photos of the park that she provided to us.
One of those great shots is featured here. Stay tuned for more from this fantastic album on our facebook page.
Anywho, some changes in how we handle membership activations and expirations:
First, all memberships now activate and expire on the first and last days of the month, respectively. Programming and re-programming the lock was becoming far too complex and error-prone to continue on our previous course.
This means we need members renewing on time. We really appreciate the help in keeping things running smoothly, and thus we're instituting a $5 late renewal fee for those who renew after the beginning of the month.
A quick example:
If you originally joined the park in May, for one month, and you want to renew for June but wait until after May 31st, that would be a late renewal.
New members fear not: we understand you don't want to wait until the turn of the month to join. For you, we'll simply pro-rate your fee for the current month, and include that with the fee for the following month in your initial purchase.
And this isn't just shameless bias toward our new members, as it's actually more labor intensive to renew a member we've already deactivated than to activate a new one.
Thank you everyone for your wonderful support of the dog park thus far.
