Dear loyal customers,
This is an update that I dread having to pass along to you. I have been notified by my distributor of Timberwolf Organics dog and cat food that they are pulling the product line from their warehouses. They have apparently experienced difficulty in receiving the proper sales and promotion support that they feel necessary to create the necessary sales performance expected of their pet food lines.
I hate to see the figurative rug pulled out from underneath you, our customers, but unfortunately I can do little about this particular issue. The current economic environment, including ethanol mandates and massive inflationary measures taken by the Federal Reserve, have caused extraordinary pressures on both commodity costs, and the purchasing power of our dollar, over the past eighteen to twenty-four months.
However, this may have been a blessing in disguise:
On my most recent (and now last) order of Timberwolf product, I experienced a truly staggering increase in the wholesale cost of their foods. This increase was so drastic, that for me to continue making a sufficient return on investment, I would've had to increase the retail price to truly astronomical levels.
As an example, the large (33lb) bags of dog food would each retail anywhere from $84.99 to well over ninety dollars.
As much as I was impressed with the quality of this product, and the positive results our clients experienced from using it--we fed Timberwolf with great success to both Joey and Tanner--these kinds of price increases are simply unsustainable.
I also believe that we have established a broad and comprehensive selection of the best and most cutting-edge holistic dog and cat foods on the market, and thus I think all of you will find our other product lines to be fantastic replacements. Given that Timberwolf is a top quality product, transitioning to a new product can be done seamlessly, without any mixing--only inferior foods typically need such procedures during diet changes.
Also, to help ease this transition for all of you, I'm offering all of my remaining stock of Timberwolf at twenty percent off the retail price. Please take advantage of this discount to help make your switch to a new food as smooth as possible--in particular we suggest Canine Caviar, given that it is a dehydrated raw kibble.
