Welcome to our brand new website! We think you'll like what you see. Joey's was founded in 2005 with a radically different vision of how a pet store should be. With clean, well-lit aisles, neatly organized shelves, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a knack for finding the coolest products rarely found anywhere else, we've developed a fantastic following of people who have had it with the same old pet 'warehouses' and 'supermarts'.
You won't find a lot of 'leading brand' products you buy in the grocery store, or even your ordinary pet ("super")store. But you will find a lot of stuff you'll never find anywhere else either. That's not to say you won't find brand name items at Joey's--there are plenty; we just make sure that we don't carry a product solely for its advertising budget. If there's a better product out there--especially if it's better and cheaper--then we'll carry that one instead.
The results, frankly, have been incredible. I can't tell you how often we've had customers tell us of their amazement. Whether it's a new food they had never heard of that's worked wonders, when the vet tells them there's nothing they can do, or a training product that finally solves that stubborn behavior, Joey's is solving problems for its clients every day. And usually it's done without costing the client any more money than they would spend at another store; or if they do spend more, the savings in vet bills, surgeries, antibiotics, steroids for allergies, and insanely expensive prescription diets more than make up for the cost.
This website presents a new chapter in the evolution of Joey's. We believe an online presence will provide many more people the opportunity to experience a more rewarding relationship with their pets. And that has always been the ultimate goal. Americans today, more than ever before in history, love their pets as a member of their family. Because of this, anything that improves the wellbeing of those pets also improves the lives of their owners. The information, the products, and the knowledge we provide, can truly change your life. We know it's changed ours.
